Which privacy strip suits which application?
The zaun|zu® product lines differ in more than colour and design. Material structure, feel and the intended installation method affect how a strip is woven, how it sits in the fence and the surface appearance it creates.
Check the fence row
Standard strips approximately 19 cm wide are designed for the roughly 19 cm clear height of a typical 20 cm row. MAXI at 24 cm is intended for suitable single-wire mesh panels.
Choose the surface
Matt-grained, grooved, embossed, woven or textile: the surface determines the close-up effect and whether the fence appears calm or lively.
Consider the fastening method
Depending on the product, dimensionally stable strips may not require clips. Flexible fleece versions are secured with clips or suitable finishing solutions as specified.

PREMIUM, RILLE, DELUX and décor
Dimensionally stable PP strips form the basis of several product lines. PREMIUM is matt and smoothly grained on both sides, RILLE has a lengthwise texture, and DELUX uses an embossed honeycomb structure. Perforated and laser-cut versions add purposeful design accents.

RATTAN
RATTAN uses a PE surface with a woven appearance. The material creates a welcoming, three-dimensional look and is available in several colours and lengths. Product information specifies a width of approximately 19 cm and an overall thickness of around 2 mm for individual strips.

Design fleece

ECO · Polyal
ECO is the product name. According to the current product description, the Polyal used contains material recovered from beverage cartons. How to read technical data correctly.
The following values come from the zaun|zu® PREMIUM product data sheet and must not be transferred to other product lines without checking.
Allow for temperature and expansion
The data sheet specifies linear expansion of +1.6 mm per metre for a 10 °C temperature increase. Strips should therefore be installed panel by panel and not run rigidly across several fence panels.
Planning, care and safety
Consider the location before choosing.

Closed surfaces increase the forces acting on the fence, posts and foundations. Perforations change air permeability but do not replace an assessment of the fence.

Weaving requires more length than the panel width alone. A test strip in the desired pattern helps determine the actual cut length.
